Mega Millions is America's second-largest multi-state lottery, drawn Tuesday and Friday at 23:00 ET. Players select five numbers from 1 to 70 and one Mega Ball from 1 to 24. The game matrix changed in April 2025 from /25 to /24 Mega Ball options. Starting jackpots begin at US$50 million (raised from US$20 million in April 2025). Nine divisions reward winners. Built-in multiplier (2x–10x) increases non-jackpot prizes. Mega Millions tickets cost US$2 per game.
