Schedule: 14:00 (afternoon) and 21:00 (evening) IST every day. Tickets cut off 5 minutes before draw close. That's 14 chances per week against EuroMillions IE's 2 chances or Irish Lotto's 3 chances — a meaningfully different cadence.
Format: pick 6 numbers from 1-39 plus a Bonus Ball drawn afterwards. €1 per line. Match-6 pays €1 million flat (no rollover). Odds for Match-6: 1 in 3,262,623. That's substantially better than Irish Lotto's Match-6 odds (1 in 10.7 million).
Prize tiers: Match-6 €1,000,000. Match-5+Bonus €10,000. Match-5 €500. Match-4+Bonus €100. Match-4 €10. Match-3+Bonus €5. The Match-3 base tier pays €3 — at €1 entry, that's 33% of the prizes returning roughly the cost of an entry on the most-likely match outcome.
Plus add-on: €0.50 extra per line. Top prize €25,000 for Match-6, with a Match-5+Bonus of €1,000 and smaller tiers down to Match-3+Bonus €5. Plus uses the same 6 numbers you picked for the main game, drawn against a separate set of Plus numbers (similar mechanic to EuroMillions Plus).
Strategy: with no rollover, Daily Million's prize structure is fixed. There's no 'is the jackpot big enough' decision — every draw has the same €1M top prize. The optimal strategy is volume play: 14 cheap chances per week vs concentrating €14 on one EuroMillions line. EV is broadly similar across the two approaches; the experience is very different.
Eligibility: Irish residents 18+, sold through PLIS retailers and online (lottery.ie). Not available outside Ireland. Prizes are tax-free in Ireland.
